Gale's Castle (Part 2)
((I have been informed that location threads can be created at any time. If I was mistaken, I shall submit it and try again.))
On the eastern edge of Estecia Valley, a dark castle stands above the trees. It was well known that the castle was home to Gale Onarav, who was well known in the surrouding area. Not many "normal" people dared to step close to the castle or even the valley. Despite it's lack of weapons, it's master alone is enough to defend it and most who try to sneak in have been killed. Right now Gale is trudging from the nearby Tri-Links Cafe to his home. Recently the mercenary and ally of Gale, Cloud, had defeated him and demanded that he a cure for the poison he used to try and kill Ayn. Gale doubted such a thing existed, but he rather not get stabbed again. Gale quietly moves until he can see his home, he growls. "Women are never around when you need them.." |

A voice comes from above. "You speak ill of me, Gale Onarav?" Laena hops down from a tree and lands in front of him, leaning on her staff and smiling at him.

"I take it back. Now, my comrade threatened to maim me if I didn't find an antidote for your poison. I have a feeling there isn't one, but I had to ask."

Her smile widens. "And if I were to give you this antidote, what would you do for me in return?"

"..............I'll say it again. I hate women." Gale curses in frustration. Now that there was an antidote he had to get it or else he'd be pinned to the wall with knives. "I hardly see how it matters, as you can make me do whatever you want." Even though Gale was well aware Laena already knew that, he felt he made a mistake in saying that.

Laena makes a clicking sound with her tongue disapprovingly. "My, my... Such ill behavior towards a lady.. We'll have to fix that won't we?"

"Goddamnit. I'm going to kill all of them later for this...." Gale muttered "What is it you want?" under his breath. He really hated always having to yield to the Siren. Sure sure had a knack for getting her way.

Gale follows Laena's gaze to his own sword and he frowns. "I'll take my chances back in the cafe before I give up Sin."

She smiles at him. "Of course.. I would never separate a man from his most prized possession.."

"Very well.." She walks up to him, leaning forward until their faces are merely inches apart. "I'm rather torn about this whole situation... You see, I must kill whoever is given the antidote to give to another.. But I like you too much to kill."

Sin imeadiately turns in a gun and Gale has it to Laena's stomach. He backs of slowly. "You may say that but I don't trust you." Gale pulls back the hammer of Sin, but he isn't intent on firing. "So just give me the antidote, then we can both be on our way."

She steps backward, a look of genuine hurt on her face. "I don't intend to hurt you.. Why must you push me away?"

"I get edgy when all you have to do to control me is sing." Gale lowers Sin, this day wasn't going to well. ".....How long should that poison take to kill someone?"

"Why, no longer than an hour.. How long has it been?" Her hurt look hasn't dissipated yet.

Gale noticed that Laena looked hurt. Someone to be upset at him for such a petty reason was odd. He might of felt guilt, if he still had compassion. "Longer then that....how the hell could she be alive?"

Laena frowns slightly. "The only reason it may not have killed her yet.. is if she's not entirely human.."

"Not entirely human? The other races traits would have shown then...." Gale lets out a cry of frustration. "**** this. I'm going home. That bitch'll survive, I'm not getting an antidote." The very agitated Gale storms past Laena to the castle gates.

She turns and watches him go sadly.. The first man she had really opened herself up to had tossed her to the side as if she were a used toy.

Gale looked up at the closed gates to his castle, he had wondered why Laena was upset but he was a little more intrested in getting to the castle and getting some sleep. He waved his hand and the gates rose. He kicked open the front doors and made his way through the castle. He felt the need to break something.

She suddenly appears in front of him.. Don't ask how.. Sirens can do that o.o. "....You are so unhappy, Gale Onarav.. Why is this? What hurts you so?"

"First time I heard that from a siren." Gale moves past Laena. He was somewhat impressed with how presistant she was, but he was also annoyed. Gale opened the doors to the library he quickly walked through it to a second pair of doors tha mirrored the ones he came through.

"...A siren? Surely you can do better than that. I see you're still putting up with ugly company. You're quite also up to your usual antics concerning Ayn."

*cloud walks through the gates and follows the opened doors into the Library untill he is upon gale, sighing* Where's the antidote, Gale. You swore.

*looks at him furiously* If she were dead we would be too. *he steps closer, tightening his grip on his Buster Sword he has been dragging*

"That's right. She's still alive because we are." Gale reaches for Sin when he sees the look in Cloud eyes, but another voice rings out. "Havok." Alinos steps through the library. Gale blinks. "How the hell do all of you get in?"

*his head snaps twoard Alinos and his eyes become solid black, removing all color. He speaks in a deep voice intwined with cloud's* Alinos? I thought you were dead, friend. *he grins and fangs grow visible*

"Hardly, I only fell a few....hundred trillion light years." A opaque blade appears in his hand. "Let's take this outside, unless fighting mortals is hard enough for you."

Laena stares quietly at the angel.. Perhaps she could control the minds of mortals, but angels are an entirely different story.. She would have to come back later, as it is not in her nature to feel not in control. She turns and leaves.

*his skin goes grey then dark blue and red circles appear around his pupils, he gains no muscle or height or weight like in his other form. The buster sword glows the turns black with glowing engraved red symbols in the blade. He walks behind him, sheathing his sword as his single wing sprouts out from his left shoulder blade*

Gale turns his head and sees Laena has left. He stares blankly for a moment before turning back to Cloud, who is talking to Alinos. The angel smiles. "Meet me in the valley, unless you fear me." Alinos disappeares and re-appeares in the nearby valley.

*havoc stops for a moment as tatoos appear all over his body. He turns to Gale* Did you have fun with our game? After I kill this angel *he begins to walk again* I'll be back for you.. *he fades into a mist and appears in a tree in the valley, across from alinos*

*he smirks* And gained one that wouldn't explode when I went into my intimidating stage. You see, this body is exactly like my own, the figure, the weight, everything. And his bond with me is sealed, he gave up his soul and gave me his faith. *he appears at the base of the tree and readies his Crimson Buster* I also agree with his weapon. *he runs at him, his sword in a stabbing position*

Alinos flaps his wings and appears above Havok. He sends something that looks like a shooting star down on him. "I'll disconnect the two off you, then crush your soul forever."
Gale walks through a final door into his bedroom. He wondered how the fight would turn out between Cloud and Alinos would turn out, he really wasn't ready to fight. He felt incrediably exhausted for some reason. "Why can't they all leave me alone? Damnit I only walked in. That's all I did. Suddenly everyone wants me dead." |
